Partner relationship management software, shortened to PRM, is the system a company uses to recruit, onboard, equip and pay the resellers, referral partners and alliances that sell for it.

Partners get a portal to register deals and see earnings, and the vendor sees pipeline and payouts in one place.

In October 2026 entry prices run from $0 to $25,000 a year, Channelscaler cites $50,000 per module, and PartnerStack's page shows no price.

I build TrackRev, which sits at the affiliate end of this category; the last section says where the line falls.

Key takeaways

  • PRM software manages partners who help close a sale, affiliate software tracks links and pays commission, and a CRM holds your own customers.
  • Entry prices across 9 vendors run from $0 to $25,000 a year, Channelscaler cites $50,000 per module, and PartnerStack's page shows no price.
  • TrackRev covers the affiliate and referral end from $39 a month, with no deal registration, co-sell, MDF or CRM sync.

What partner relationship management software does

A PRM covers seven jobs between signing a partner and paying one.

JobWhat it doesExample from a vendor page
Portal and onboardingPartners apply, accept terms and check numbersPartnerPortal.io launches a free portal in 60 seconds; Kiflo Core ($399 a month) adds lead registration
Deal registrationA partner claims a prospect so your reps skip itImpartner ties registration to CPQ quotes and AWS and Microsoft marketplace transactions

EnablementCourses, certifications and co-branded contentIntrow Scale has unlimited certificates; Channelscaler lists Training and Enablement
IncentivesCommissions, rebates, SPIFFs and market development funds (MDF)Channelscaler lists SPIFFs, rebates, commissions and MDF under Incentives and Rewards
Tiers and business plansMoves a partner up a level and sets a yearly planKiflo Plus adds tier qualification and business plans
Reporting and CRM syncPartner-sourced pipeline, pushed into your CRMSalesforce's $25 PRM edition includes Channel Analytics; Kiflo Core syncs HubSpot and Salesforce

The label covers two products. Salesforce defines PRM around resellers, distributors and agents. PartnerStack's glossary calls that view outdated and adds affiliate, referral, technology, alliance and influencer partners.

A distributor needs deal registration and rebates, while a newsletter author with a tracking link needs a commission ledger.

PRM compared with CRM and affiliate software

The three differ in who deals with the buyer.

A PRM works alongside the CRM. Magentrix's PRM versus CRM explainer says partners see only their slice of CRM data through the portal, so test the HubSpot and Salesforce sync first.

Affiliate software matches a click to a Stripe sale and calculates the commission; how affiliate tracking works covers the mechanics.

Who needs a PRM and who can skip one

What your partners doWhat fits
Quote, bundle or negotiate with the buyerA PRM such as Impartner Emerge ($25,000 a year)
Could chase a prospect your own sales reps already workA PRM with deal registration, such as Kiflo Core at $399 a month
Claim rebates, SPIFFs or MDF beyond a flat percentageA PRM with incentive modules, such as Magentrix Advanced
Share a link while the buyer checks out aloneAffiliate software, from $39 a month at TrackRev
Mix agency resellers with creatorsPartnerStack or Introw, which both include affiliate links, or a PRM beside an affiliate tool

A link-sharing program needs attribution, a ledger and payouts, and affiliate commission benchmarks 2026 shows what such programs pay. For long sales cycles, see B2B affiliate marketing for high-ACV SaaS.

Prices from each vendor's pricing page, October 2026, except Impartner's, which comes from its HubSpot Marketplace listing updated September 25, 2026.

Salesforce PRM, for teams on Sales Cloud

Salesforce sells PRM as an edition chosen after a Sales Cloud edition. The $25 edition includes Experience Cloud, Deal Management and Channel Analytics. The $50 edition adds partner enablement, loyalty management, account plans and extra custom objects.

A 30-day Sales Cloud trial is offered, and Salesforce calls the page informational, so confirm what counts as a member before multiplying.

Impartner, for large channel programs

Impartner's HubSpot Marketplace listing shows 4 plans, Emerge, Ignite, Pro and Enterprise, each with a 30-day trial. Emerge covers Pipeline Management, an Asset Library, Training and Certification and Partner Analytics.

The listing also describes partner self-quoting, automated MDF and co-branded content, and syncs partners, contacts, deals and leads with HubSpot.

Channelscaler (formerly Allbound), for per-program pricing

Allbound now trades as Channelscaler, which describes itself as formerly Allbound and Channel Mechanics. It fixes the price per program for the whole contract, with implementation, a customer success manager and unlimited users included.

One line says pricing starts at $50,000 per module a year, but it sits under a Typical Partner Program Pricing heading, so ask whether that is Channelscaler's own figure. It runs on Microsoft Azure and integrates with Dynamics 365.

Magentrix, for portal-first mid-market programs

Magentrix bills on an annual contract by partner organization or partner user: Essentials starts at 100 users or 10 accounts, Advanced at 150 users or 20 accounts. Month-to-month adds a 10% surcharge.

Essentials has self-registration, an LMS and partner attribution, while Advanced adds MDF, payouts, business planning and a REST API.

PartnerStack, for B2B SaaS with mixed partner types

PartnerStack names Launch, Growth and Enterprise plans and shows no price and sends you to a demo; its page metadata lists Launch at $1,000 a month and Growth at $1,520, which I could not confirm on the visible page.

Launch lets you pick affiliate link tracking or lead and deal registration, and Enterprise includes both. Growth adds a learning management system and MDF payments. See PartnerStack vs TrackRev for the affiliate-side comparison.

Kiflo, for a first partner team at a SaaS company

Kiflo Core allows 3 partner managers and 1,000 GB of asset storage, and counts a partner as active once one of its users has portal access. It includes Account Mapping, co-sell collaborations and automatic commission calculation, with payouts triggered manually.

Plus triggers them automatically, and Premier adds SSO. Annual billing takes 10% off.

Introw, for teams that live in HubSpot

Introw Starter has 1 seat and deal and lead registration. Pro adds multi-partner portals, unlimited commission plans, 20 custom reports and 3 seats, and Scale adds Salesforce, 50 custom reports, 5 seats and a Crossbeam integration.

The feature list includes affiliate campaigns with trackable links.

PartnerPortal.io, for small programs priced by usage

PartnerPortal.io gives every plan its 100+ features and meters partners and leads. Free allows 5 partners, 10 leads and 1 team member, Professional 100 partners and 1,000 leads, and Enterprise is unlimited.

It integrates with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Stripe and PayPal.

Crossbeam, for account overlap with partners

Crossbeam Connector includes 500 AI credits a year and 5,000 record exports, and extra seats cost $1,800 each a year. Supernode and Enterprise buyers can add credit packs from $1,000 for 10,000 credits.

Its pricing page lists account mapping, co-sell workflows and shared lists, and shows no partner portal, commission or payout feature. Introw and PartnerPortal.io both list a Crossbeam integration.

What the entry plans cost over a year

Kiflo Core, monthly billing$399 x 12$4,788
Crossbeam Connector, 1 seatListed per year$4,800
Salesforce Partner Ecosystem Management, 10 members$50 x 10 x 12$6,000
Crossbeam Connector, 3 seats$4,800 + 2 x $1,800$8,400
Magentrix Essentials, annual contract$1,500 x 12$18,000
Magentrix Essentials, month-to-month$1,500 + 10%, x 12$19,800
Impartner EmergeListed per year$25,000

Entry plans only, before add-ons, taxes and implementation. Prices from each vendor's pricing page, October 2026.

Of the non-Salesforce plans in that table, the dearest costs more than 8 times the cheapest.

A program with 100 partners fits PartnerPortal.io Professional at $2,988, while Kiflo Core would pass its 50-partner cap and move you to the quoted Plus plan. Salesforce prices per member, and its page starts from a Sales Cloud edition.

Where TrackRev fits

TrackRev is an affiliate and referral platform. A partner shares a link, a customer pays through Stripe, Paddle, Polar or Lemon Squeezy, and the commission is calculated and paid.

Partners are invited by email or approved from applications, then get a portal on your domain with links and earnings and upload a W-9 or W-8 at onboarding.

Commissions can be recurring, one-time or tiered, a refund or dispute reverses them, and Partner Accelerator pays a recruiter from one capped pool.

Each program sets a commission hold of 0 to 180 days, defaulting to 0. Payout periods close weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly or quarterly.

You pay from one PayPal or Wise CSV export and mark each payout paid, because TrackRev does not send money itself.

It has no deal or lead registration, co-sell, account mapping, MDF, courses or CRM sync, and it has webhooks and no Zapier app.

The program needs a paid plan: Starter is $39 a month for up to $10K of partner commission tracked a month, Growth is $99 and Scale is $199, and annual billing pays for 9 months and gives 12.

The free plan is link tracking only, with 50 links and 1,000 tracked events a month.

Pick a PRM when partners register deals, claim rebates or co-sell into your accounts. Pick TrackRev when they are creators, customers or consultants paid a share of billing revenue.

The affiliate program page and the PartnerStack comparison show the feature set.
