Refund policy

We want to earn your business, not trap you. If TrackRev isn't working for you, here is exactly what to expect.

Our commitment

TrackRev is a subscription product. We believe refund policies should be clear before you pay, not discovered after. If the product does not deliver value, you should not pay for it — and this policy gives you concrete options to act on that.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and are subject to Stripe's refund processing timelines.

14-day satisfaction guarantee

All new paid subscriptions come with a 14-day full refund guarantee. If you upgrade to any paid plan and decide within 14 calendar days of your first charge that TrackRev is not right for you, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked and no justification required.

  • The 14-day window starts on the date of your first paid charge, not the date you created your account or started a free trial.
  • The guarantee applies once per customer entity (person or company), not once per billing cycle or plan change.
  • The guarantee applies to monthly and annual plans. For lifetime deals, see the Lifetime deals section below.

To claim the guarantee, email maruf@trackrev.io with the subject line "Refund request — 14-day guarantee" and include the email address on your account.

Monthly subscriptions

Outside the 14-day guarantee window, monthly subscription charges are non-refundable for the current billing period.

  • You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation stops future charges; you retain full access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • We do not issue prorated refunds for unused days within a paid monthly period.
  • If we make a billing error — a duplicate charge, wrong amount, or a charge after you cancelled — we will correct it immediately with a full refund of the erroneous amount, regardless of when you report it.

Annual plans

Annual plans are billed upfront for 12 months. Because of the larger commitment, we offer extended and prorated refund terms:

  • Within 30 days of the annual charge: full refund, no questions asked. (This extends the standard 14-day window for annual customers.)
  • After 30 days and before 6 months of use: prorated refund for the remaining full months. We calculate the monthly equivalent (annual price ÷ 12), multiply by unused full months remaining in the term, and refund that amount.
  • After 6 or more months of use: no refund; you retain access until the end of the annual term.

To request an annual plan refund, email maruf@trackrev.io with your account email and the date of the original annual charge.

Lifetime deals

Lifetime deal purchases (offered periodically through platforms such as AppSumo or directly on our site) are governed first by the terms of the specific campaign. Where the campaign does not specify a refund window, the following apply:

  • Within 60 days of purchase, account unused: full refund. "Unused" means no live tracking links have received real visitor traffic through the account.
  • Within 60 days of purchase, account actively used: refund at our discretion. Contact us — if the product genuinely did not work for your use case, we will work with you.
  • After 60 days: no refund. Lifetime deals are priced with this limitation clearly factored in.

Exclusions

The following are not eligible for refunds regardless of the plan type or timing:

  • Accounts that have been terminated or suspended for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy, including fraudulent activity or illegal use of the Service.
  • Charges for plan upgrades that you initiated and used within the billing period, where the pricing was clearly displayed at the time of upgrade.
  • One-time fees for custom development, professional services, or bespoke integrations, unless the agreed deliverable was not provided.
  • Taxes collected and remitted to a tax authority on your behalf. We will provide an itemised tax invoice but cannot refund taxes already remitted.

How to request a refund

  1. Email maruf@trackrev.io with the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include the email address on your TrackRev account and the approximate date of the charge you are requesting a refund for.
  3. Optionally, include the reason you are leaving. We use feedback to improve the product; it is not required to process your refund.

We acknowledge all refund requests within one business day and process eligible refunds within two business days of confirming eligibility.

Processing time

Once we initiate a refund through Stripe, how quickly the credit appears in your account depends on your card issuer and bank:

  • Credit and debit cards: typically 5–10 business days. Some banks display the credit immediately as a pending reversal before it settles.
  • SEPA Direct Debit: up to 14 business days.
  • Other payment methods: timelines vary by method. Stripe's support page has specifics for your payment method if needed.

We will send you an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated in Stripe, including the Stripe refund reference number so you can track it.

Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. A direct email avoids the fees, processing delays, and administrative work that a chargeback creates on both sides — and we respond within one business day.

If you file a chargeback for a charge we believe was valid:

  • We will respond to your bank with documentation including your acceptance of these Terms, the applicable charge record, and any usage data relevant to the dispute.
  • Your account access may be suspended for the duration of an open chargeback dispute.
  • Chargebacks filed for charges that were valid, disclosed, and used may be contested, and we reserve the right to recover our costs where permitted by law.

If your chargeback is upheld by your bank, we accept the outcome and will not pursue further recovery.
