# About TrackRev

TrackRev is SaaS affiliate software for indie hackers and small SaaS teams: run your SaaS affiliate program with no limit on tracked revenue, with link tracking and revenue attribution built in.

## Why does TrackRev exist?

Most SaaS affiliate tools charge by how well your program works. Plans are metered on the revenue or commission you track, so the month your partners finally perform is the month your bill jumps a tier. For an indie hacker or a small SaaS team, that is the wrong incentive: the tool should get out of the way when the program grows, not take a bigger cut of it. TrackRev is SaaS affiliate software built on the opposite rule: run your SaaS affiliate program with no limit on tracked revenue. No plan caps or meters the affiliate revenue or commission you track, there are no revenue fees, and the price is flat: $29 a month for one site, or $299 a year to manage up to 10. Link tracking and revenue attribution are built in, so every partner click is tied to the real charge it produced. The commission report, the channel report and the MRR line in your billing all match, because they come from the same settled charge. That is the entire product thesis. Everything else is execution.

## Who built TrackRev?

TrackRev is built by Muzahid Maruf, a product designer and founder based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before TrackRev, Muzahid built Contant.io alongside a range of digital products for creators and marketing teams. His background is in product design — specifically in making complex data workflows feel simple — and TrackRev comes from watching SaaS teams fight with tracking tools that never gave the same number twice. The problem Muzahid kept seeing was not a lack of data. It was a surplus of conflicting data from tools that did not share a definition of what counted as a sale. A link tool counted a click. An affiliate tool counted a conversion. GA4 counted a goal completion. Each measured something different and called it a conversion. Monthly reconciliation became a standing meeting that produced arguments, not decisions. TrackRev's answer was to start from the charge that actually settled — the only number nobody disputes — and work backwards. Every click, every attribution, every affiliate commission flows from the same source of truth: money in the account. Muzahid writes about SaaS affiliate programs, first-party tracking, and partner revenue on the TrackRev blog. The full bio and article archive lives on the author page. Muzahid runs TrackRev publicly and is reachable directly:

## What does TrackRev believe about marketing attribution?

Five things, in order of how often they come up in customer conversations. The charge that settles is the only number nobody disputes. Every metric in TrackRev works backwards from money in the account — not forwards from clicks. A click is a guess at intent. A goal completion in GA4 is a guess at value. A settled charge is a fact. Building on facts means the dashboard agrees with finance, and finance agrees with the dashboard. First-party tracking only. No third-party pixels. No Google Analytics inside the dashboard. No Mixpanel collecting your customer behaviour to a vendor's data warehouse. Tracking that you control means tracking that survives browser changes, ad blockers, and the next round of platform privacy rules. Server-side wherever it matters. Browser-side scripts get blocked, throttled, or stripped of cookie context by every major browser. Webhooks and server-to-server conversion APIs do not. The conversions that pay your rent should not depend on whether a visitor has uBlock installed. One definition of a sale, from the first click to the commission payout. The affiliate report, the channel report, and the MRR line in your billing should always agree. Refunds reverse commissions automatically. Currency math runs on the same exchange rates Stripe used. There is no spreadsheet column called "adjustment". No vanity dashboards. If a chart does not help you decide something, it should not be on the page. We have cut features that looked nice in a demo but did not help anyone change a budget allocation on a Monday morning. Every screen earns its place.

## What won't TrackRev do?

The list of features we have explicitly decided not to ship is shorter than the feature list, but it matters more. Here it is. No third-party tracking No Google Analytics inside the dashboard, no FullStory, no session replay on the marketing site or in the product. We eat our own dog food — every visitor to trackrev.io is tracked by TrackRev itself. No usage-based pricing surprises One flat plan per tier. We would rather you predict your bill than discover it the morning after a launch. Free covers 1,000 events. Above that, every paid plan is unlimited — no per-event meter, no overage charge. No vanity dashboards If a chart does not help you decide something, it does not belong on the page. We have cut features that did not earn their place — and we will keep cutting them when customer interviews say a screen is decorative. No locked-in data Every table exports to CSV. Every event fires a webhook. If you cancel, you take your historical data with you for 30 days. Your data is your data — we treat it that way both legally and operationally.

## Where is TrackRev based and how do I get support?

TrackRev is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The team is small — between one and ten people — and the founder still reads every support email. There is no tier-one queue. There is no chat widget that routes to a sales SDR. There is no AI bot trained on stale documentation. The fastest way to reach us is maruf@trackrev.io. Replies usually arrive within one business day, and they come from a human who can actually change the product. If something is broken, the person who can fix it is on the other end of the email. If something is missing, the person who can build it is on the other end of the email. Time zone overlap is Asia / Pacific friendly. North American customers usually get a reply by the start of their work day; EMEA customers get one within their afternoon. We answer in English.

## How is TrackRev priced and what is the business model?

Three plans. Free covers 1,000 tracked events per month, last-touch attribution, fifty links, QR codes, and the UTM builder. It is meant to be actually useful for a side project or a small landing page, not a gated demo of the paid product. Every paid plan unlocks the entire product — the full affiliate program with partner portal, commission tracking, PayPal and Wise payout CSV exports, and refund-aware commission reversals, plus unlimited links and events, all three attribution models (last-touch, first-touch, linear), revenue sync from Stripe, Paddle Billing, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Creem and Dodo Payments, and custom tracking domains. Neither paid plan caps affiliate revenue or commission tracked. They differ only on how much of your account they cover: workspaces, tracked domains and team members. Indie is $29/month for one workspace, one tracked domain and just you; Growth is $299/year for up to 10 workspaces, up to 10 tracked domains and unlimited team members. For comparison, Rewardful Starter is $49 a month and its price climbs as your tracked revenue does; TrackRev's price does not. The business model is the simplest one in software: you pay for the tool, that is the business. TrackRev is bootstrapped — no outside investment, no board to answer to, no quarterly growth target imposed by a VC who needs to return a fund. We do not resell your data. We do not run an ad network. We do not have an upsell tier hidden behind a sales call. There is no "Enterprise — contact us" button concealing the real price. The price is the price. TrackRev launched in 2024. Feature decisions are made based on what customers tell us they need, not on what a roadmap committee approved two quarters ago.

## What is next on the TrackRev roadmap?

We do not publish a multi-quarter roadmap, because we ship based on what customers ask for, not on what we committed to last March. The current priorities are deeper subscription LTV reporting across the trial → MRR → expansion lifecycle, more billing-provider integrations beyond Stripe / Paddle / Polar / Lemon Squeezy, and lower-friction affiliate onboarding for partners who already promote multiple SaaS products. If something you need is missing, email maruf@trackrev.io. We read every request. The ones we ship first are the ones that show up more than once.
